According to the researchers they have said that while uplifting the centripetal force will help and while to go down the gravity of earth will be enough to pull down the elevator. They are searching for the rope which will help the elevator to go up and down. That rope should have some of the special features as it should have the ability to withstand a high elasticity and to overcome from different temperatures. This rope have to pass from the different layers of the earth atmosphere. The researchers are now searching for that kind of the material which will overcome all this kind of the problem. US government and NASA has also invested a huge money for the accomplishment of this project.
