The largest organ of our body and its functions

Our body is a very vast and complex form though we may not know what is going inside our body. Inside our body there is a vast mechanism running. Different organs and processes are responsible for the continuation of our life. Among different organs liver is considered to be one of the largest organs of the body. The weight of the liver is around 1-2.3 kgs or around it. It is the reddish dark in colour. It is located at the right corner of the body, just above the duodenum. The liver consists of four lobes. The larger right and smaller left lobe. In the same way the two small lobes are quadrate and caudate lobe. We cannot feel the presence of liver on our body because it is guarded by the rib cage.The liver secretes the bile through the bile duct. The final opening of the liver is guarded by a sphincter of oddi. The storation as well as the process of concentration is well played by the gall bladder which is blue green in color. It is a pear shaped organ.
       After the general anatomy of the liver lets discuss about some of its functions. They are as follows.
1.It helps in the removal or neutralize the toxic substance by producing anti toxic this is called the detoxification of the blood.
2. It synthesizes the blood proteins.
3. It helps in production of the bile because it helps in the digestion and the absorption of the fat. The bile contains the bile acids.
4. It store the glucose as glycogen as release during the time of deficient of energy.
5. It is the site for the production of the heat hence considered as an important organ .
        There may occur sometime the disorder of the liver. In this case we may suffer from different disease but as a common we talk about the jaundice. It occurs when the yellow colors is seen in all the body that indicates the less amount of blood in our body due to a huge and fast break down of the haemoglobin. Cirrhosis is also another disease which is caught by a alcoholic person who drinks too much alcohol due the excess alcohol, the person whole liver is damage and the person is in the stress situation. This are the serious disease that may also cause the death of a person.
     Hence liver is a vital and the important organ of our body.
