Why we blink our eye

Well eye is considered as a one of the most vital organ of the body. The eye is to see the objects. The message captured by the eye is then detected and read by the help of brain. So the question here is why do we blink. In average we blink about 19-20 times a day. But the time or duration of blink is different according to the different activities we made. It hits upon activities. The activities in which we  are focusing we blink less at that time probably 2min per blink.
    We blink because to keep the eye moist and during blinking it helps to keep the eye moist. In the same way it also helps to reduce the pressure in the eye. Due to continuous vision our eye may irritate. It helps to prevent the irritation of the eye. The eye is also lined by the eyelash in both the upper and lower eyelids the eyelash helps to prevent the foreign particles entering from the eye. The reflex action occurring in the human body causes the blinking of the eye. The blinking of the eye is so fast that it is controlled by the spinal cord. The blinking of the eye tells us that the brain of the body needs rest. It is also considered as the process for the relaxation of the brain.
The muscles that allows us to blink is the fastest muscles in the body that has a potentiality to blink 5 times a second. In the same way it is said that the woman blinks twice as more as the man does. It is not good to blink too much because there may be some problem in the eyelids during the process if more excess blinking occur then the person might suffer from the neurological disorder.
      According to one research it is concluded that if a person make a eye to eye contact with another standing person then his intention is to kill you or he or she has a desire to have a sex with you.
    This are the reasons and the fun and interesting facts on why we blink. The blinking is a natural process no one can stay without blink.
