There are many things in the world which have a great power which has a great potentiality to control the whole universe. Among them the spiritual and pure word is om. It belongs or have been derived first in the Hindu religion. It has been first mention in the Hindu books. In the same way later the word om was studied and researched by the researchers in which they found that the only sound that can vibrate the whole universe is om. Om word is composed of A,U,M word in which each letter has its own value and defines a particular things. A letter signifies the conscious state , U symbolizes the dream state and M symbolizes non dream state. In the same way this whole letter together represents the past, present and future stage. The word also represents the creator, preserver and destroyer i.e birth,
Life and death. Also according to a video uploaded by NASA have claimed that the sound that they have heard from the sun resembles the sound of om. That says that this word is present in the universe. It is not just said by one or two people but by millions of people who have done meditation and have heard the sound om from their inner heard. The pronunciation of om, Amen and Ameen are same. The rhythm with which they are pronounced are same.
The significance of chanting om are many. Among them some of them are from chanting om it purifies the environment as well as heal the inner body system. It is also proved scientifically that putting hand on eyes while chanting om helps to improve in the visual quality. It is also said that during the chanting of om our hand becomes charged and when that hand is put in various parts it activates those parts of the body. Realizing its benefits it has been used in meditation also as it is said to provide a higher level of relaxation.
Hence realizing its benefits most of the people chant om for the energy and relaxation.
