Why do the air on mars glow

The red planet also better known as mars. It is the main target for the researchers to research. It comes right after our earth in terms of position of the sun. The atmosphere of the earth is 100 times thinner than the earth's atmosphere. In the same way it is made up of 95% of carbon dioxide. Since the mars is farther from the sun it possess a very cold climate. It also possess very less amount of oxygen about 0.13% in average. This is the reason that the scientist are not able to sent any mankind to this planet. Now as NASA has uploaded its findings about the mars. It shows the air in the mars planet glowing without any external light sources. Many of the researchers have been study this phenomenon and also have find the cause.
Since the atmosphere of the mars is very thinner so the researchers have solved this mystery keeping this in mind. The UV rays that are mostly directed from the sun hits the molecules of the oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide which are present in certain percentage gets dissociated this results in the breaking of the molecules and combines with the new one. The dissociation process is called the photo dissociation. In the same way the nitrogen when combines with oxygen it forms the nitric oxide. This nitric oxide forms a atmosphere around the region of the surface of the mars. Nitric acid then release the energy making the night glow. This also has helped a great for the researchers that they can map the images of the direction of the wind flowing and also can draw a sketch of the atmosphere of the mars. The ozone formation and also the formation of the water molecules. There are also different planets that has this night glow like Venus.
Hence this are the things that are the burning news of today. Many of the things and the researches are going on to land a man on the mars. Hope soon this will happen.
